The Bible in Art · 66 Books

From Genesis to Revelation—one visual journey through Scripture.

A church-ready visual Scripture resource built around Mindi Oaten’s 66-book Bible Art collection: sixty-six paintings tracing the story of Scripture, the recurring Garden thread, and the revelation of Christ from the first pages of Genesis to the final pages of Revelation.

66 Books. 66 Paintings. One Story.

The whole Bible, encountered visually.

Church Visual Journey

A Scripture-wide resource built for teaching, worship, discipleship, and reflection.

The Bible in Art began as Mindi painted through every book of Scripture. For churches, the collection can become a Bible-wide teaching library, a visual discipleship resource, a guided exhibition, or a focused ministry journey that helps people see the continuity of God’s story across the whole Word.

01

Keep Scripture first.

The artwork serves the biblical text. Use each painting as an invitation to return to the book, theme, symbol, and revelation of Christ it represents.

02

Teach the whole story.

Use the collection book by book, Testament by Testament, or as one continuous Genesis-to-Revelation journey.

03

Let the imagery connect.

The recurring Garden, flowers, birds, butterflies, crimson, light, and other visual threads help people notice continuity across Scripture.

04

Invite response.

Leave room for prayer, reflection, discussion, and Scripture study rather than turning the collection into visual information alone.

Ministry Pathways

Use the whole collection—or follow a clear section of Scripture.

The collection supports a complete Bible journey without forcing every church to use all sixty-six works at once.

01

Whole Bible Journey

Move from Genesis to Revelation as one continuous visual story of creation, covenant, promise, redemption, restoration, and the reign of Christ.

02

Old Testament

Teach creation, covenant, law, history, wisdom, worship, kings, prophets, exile, restoration, and the promise of Messiah.

03

New Testament

Follow the Gospels, the birth and mission of the Church, the life of believers in Christ, apostolic teaching, and the promise of His return.

04

Book-by-Book Teaching

Use one painting at a time as a visual entry point for a sermon, Bible class, discipleship course, small group, or teaching series.

05

The Garden Thread

Trace the recurring Garden imagery and other symbols across Scripture as a visual thread of presence, loss, redemption, and restoration.

06

Christ Through Scripture

Build a Christ-centered pathway that helps people see the promise, pattern, person, and reign of Jesus throughout the whole biblical story.

66-Book Journey

Every book has a place in the journey.

The church exhibition remains a 66-station Genesis-to-Revelation journey. For browsing here, books that Mindi presents as coordinated fine-art sets are grouped the same way as her current product pages—such as 1 & 2 Timothy, 1 & 2 Peter, and 1, 2 & 3 John—and those grouped links open a dedicated reflection page using Mindi’s full combined artwork description.

Genesis painting The Promised Seed by Mindi Oaten

The Garden Thread

What begins in Genesis continues all the way to Revelation.

Mindi felt the Lord instruct her to paint “the Garden throughout the entire project.” A flower or plant appears through the collection as a thread of God’s presence and His desire to walk with His people in relationship.

The church resource preserves this thread rather than flattening the paintings into sixty-six disconnected illustrations. The goal is one unfolding visual story.

Revelation painting The Beginning and The End by Mindi Oaten

Exhibition & Ministry Guide

Built for a full 66-book journey.

Sequence

The complete exhibition follows canonical Bible order from Genesis through Revelation so the visitor always knows where they are in the story.

Testament Break

Create a visible but restrained transition between Malachi and Matthew without making the Old and New Testaments feel like disconnected stories.

Book Stations

Each book has a permanent numbered station with the Bible book, artwork title, representative Scripture reference, Mindi’s reflection, and a permanent QR-linked mindioaten.com destination.

Grouped Paintings

Where current fine-art products combine multiple books, the church sequence still preserves the identity and order of all sixty-six biblical books.

Printing

Use only final approved exhibition files. Preserve each painting’s original proportions and attach artwork-specific print guidance rather than forcing the collection into one frame ratio.

Flexible Use

Churches may use all sixty-six works, one Testament, one Bible section, or a focused set while preserving the supplied book order inside each chosen pathway.

Church Leader Guide

How to frame the collection.

The Bible in Art is not intended to replace Bible reading or teaching. It is a visual invitation back into Scripture.

Encourage people to look first, read the biblical reference, notice the symbols, then return to the book itself. The resource should help people see connections they may have missed and become more curious about the Word.

The included leader and ministry-use guides support pastors, teachers, small-group leaders, Christian educators, prayer ministries, and exhibition hosts without prescribing one rigid way to use the collection.

The Bible in Art · Mindi Oaten Art

Sixty-six books. One unfolding story.

The complete church resource is built around the same permanent Genesis-to-Revelation numbering used in the digital library, exhibition files, station cards, QR destinations, and guides—so church teams can move through the collection without having to decode the system.
