Mindi Oaten Art's church resources are designed to make Scripture-inspired artwork practical for real ministry use. Instead of purchasing an image and then wondering what you are allowed to do with it, each church offering is organized around a clear license, prepared files, and simple guidance for using the artwork in worship, teaching, prayer, discipleship, church communication, and—when the Printable Church Exhibition license is purchased—an in-person visual Scripture experience.
You do not need to be tech-savvy to use these resources.
Every collection is organized so a church leader, administrator, pastor, worship team member, volunteer, or communications person can begin with a START HERE guide and work through the files in a logical order. You do not need design software, special church software, or an art background to understand what you received.

First: choose the kind of church license you need
There are four main ways a church can use Mindi's digital ministry resources.
1. Single Artwork Church License
Best when your church only needs one artwork for a sermon, teaching series, prayer gathering, seasonal theme, ministry campaign, livestream, church communication, or similar ministry use.
You choose the specific artwork you want to license. The purchase is digital; no physical artwork is shipped.
2. Digital Ministry Library
Best when your church wants the entire collection available for ongoing ministry use rather than licensing individual artworks one at a time.
The Digital Ministry Library includes the collection's church-ready image files, guides, Scripture and artwork references, ministry-use guidance, and licensing information. It is designed for digital and internal ministry use rather than local fine-art exhibition printing.
3. Printable Church Exhibition
Best when your church wants everything in the Digital Ministry Library plus an in-person visual Scripture experience.
Exhibition licenses add approved local-print artwork files, printable station/reflection materials, QR-linked reflection destinations, setup guidance, and the rights needed to create a temporary or rotating church exhibition using the supplied files.
4. Complete Church Digital Ministry Library Bundle
Best when your church wants all three complete digital collections—Restore, Behold Him, and The Bible in Art—for long-term ministry use.
The bundle includes all three Digital Ministry Libraries and a bundle START HERE guide. Printable exhibition rights are not included in the bundle; those are licensed separately for each collection.
What happens after your church purchases?
The process is meant to be simple.
- Complete the purchase online. Church digital products do not require physical shipping.
- Open the download page or download email. Shopify provides access to the digital file or files included with your purchase.
- Download the ZIP file or numbered ZIP files to a computer. For larger collections, a desktop or laptop is usually easier than working entirely from a phone.
- Open the START HERE guide first. This explains how the files are organized and where to find each type of resource.
- Share the appropriate working files with the people serving your church. For example, your pastor may use the Scripture guide, your worship or production team may use the screen files, and your communications team may use the square or vertical images.
- Keep the original downloaded package together. This makes it easier for future staff members or volunteers to understand what the church owns and what the license permits.
A ZIP file is simply a folder that has been compressed so it can be downloaded as one package. On most computers, you can double-click it to open or extract the folder. Nothing special needs to be purchased to access it.
What is inside a Digital Ministry Library?
The exact contents vary slightly by collection, but the Digital Ministry Libraries are built around the same purpose: give your church a clearly organized set of artwork files and ministry guidance that can be used repeatedly within the scope of the church license.
Church-ready artwork files
The collection artwork is supplied in formats prepared for ministry communication rather than forcing your team to crop or rebuild the artwork from a single master image.
- Worship-screen and presentation files for sermons, teaching, worship environments, prayer gatherings, Bible studies, retreats, and similar ministry settings.
- Square social-media files for church social channels and digital communication.
- Vertical/mobile files for phone-oriented and vertical communication formats.
- Approved bulletin and internal ministry-use files for appropriate church communication and ministry material.
Your church can place the supplied image files into the presentation, communication, or design software it already uses. The purpose of the library is to reduce the amount of resizing, searching, and guesswork required from church staff.
Artwork & Scripture guidance
The libraries include collection-specific guidance connecting the artworks with their Scripture context and sequence. This is especially helpful when a pastor, teacher, ministry leader, or volunteer is working with a large collection and needs to understand how the pieces relate to one another.
Sequence & ministry-use guidance
The resources are not simply a folder of unrelated images. The guides help your church understand how the collection can be approached as a visual journey and how the artwork may support worship, teaching, prayer, discipleship, reflection, sermon series, retreats, and other ministry settings.
START HERE guidance
Each complete library is organized so the church knows where to begin. For larger packages, the START HERE material is particularly important because it explains the folder/file structure and helps a new staff member understand the resource without needing the person who originally purchased it to walk them through everything.
Church License & Terms
The license explains what the church may do with the supplied artwork and what remains protected. Mindi retains copyright and digital reproduction ownership of her artwork.
Digital Ministry Library vs. Printable Church Exhibition
This is the most important distinction to understand before purchasing.
| Included use/resource | Digital Ministry Library | Printable Church Exhibition |
|---|---|---|
| Complete church-ready digital artwork collection | Yes | Yes |
| Worship / presentation files | Yes | Yes |
| Square social files | Yes | Yes |
| Vertical/mobile files | Yes | Yes |
| Artwork & Scripture guide | Yes | Yes |
| Ministry-use / sequence guidance | Yes | Yes |
| Approved local exhibition-print files | No | Yes |
| Printable Scripture/reflection station materials | Not included as exhibition materials | Yes |
| QR-linked reflection experience | Collection resources may link to online journey material | Yes, as part of the exhibition architecture |
| Permission to print supplied artwork for a temporary/rotating church exhibition | No | Yes |
Simple way to decide: If your church wants the artwork for screens, teaching, digital communication, ministry resources, and ongoing internal church use, choose the Digital Ministry Library. If you also want to physically print the supplied exhibition artwork and build a visual Scripture experience people can walk through, choose the Printable Church Exhibition.
How the Printable Church Exhibition works
The Printable Church Exhibition does not ship framed artwork or printed posters to your church. Instead, your church receives approved digital exhibition files and the materials needed to print and assemble the experience locally.
1. Download the exhibition package
Begin with the START HERE material and the exhibition guide. Larger collections are deliberately numbered so your team can keep the artwork, station cards, and Scripture sequence together.
2. Print the supplied exhibition files locally
Your church can use a local print shop, office-print provider, or another suitable printer. Follow the collection-specific size guidance rather than enlarging files beyond the approved recommendations.
3. Print the station/reflection materials
The station cards are designed to help people move through the collection with Scripture, reflection, and QR access. For The Bible in Art, the station cards are designed for US Letter printing at Actual Size / 100% for best QR reliability.
4. Arrange the experience
Use the supplied sequence and setup guidance to place the works in the intended order. The exhibition can be used for a focused ministry season, prayer experience, discipleship event, retreat, Lent/Holy Week journey, teaching series, or another appropriate church setting.
5. Reuse it within the licensed church campus
The Printable Church Exhibition license allows the same licensed church campus to reuse the supplied exhibition materials for future approved temporary or rotating ministry seasons, subject to the license terms.
How the QR reflections work
A QR code is the small square code people scan with the camera on a smartphone. When a visitor scans one of the supplied exhibition QR codes, it opens the corresponding reflection destination on MindiOaten.com.
- No special church app is required.
- The visitor normally scans with the phone's built-in camera.
- The QR destination connects that station to the corresponding Scripture/reflection material.
- The reflection pages are maintained online so the printed station can remain simple and uncluttered.

What can our church use the digital artwork for?
Within the applicable license, the resources are designed for genuine church ministry use such as:
- sermons and teaching presentations
- worship environments and pre-service/post-service screens
- prayer gatherings and contemplative ministry
- Bible studies and discipleship
- retreats and ministry events
- seasonal church communication
- church website, email, and social communication
- livestream and ministry presentation use
- bulletins and approved internal church material
- Christian education and Scripture-based teaching
Printable Church Exhibition licenses additionally include the local-print permissions specified for that collection.
What is not included?
Purchasing a church license does not transfer ownership of Mindi's artwork or copyright. Unless an expanded written license is granted, the standard church resources do not include:
- reselling the digital files
- selling merchandise made with the artwork
- sublicensing the artwork to another church or organization
- sharing the master/source files with another organization
- commercial reproduction outside the licensed church use
- AI training or machine-learning use
- standalone fine-art reproduction from Digital Ministry Library files
- multi-campus use unless expanded permission has been arranged
Read the Standard Church Licensing Terms →
Church use only — no personal use. The license belongs to the purchasing church for its ministry use. It does not give pastors, staff, leaders, volunteers, or congregation members personal-use rights to the artwork or files. Staff may work with the files as needed for the licensed church, but files or exhibition prints may not be taken home, retained, gifted, or used as personal artwork or home décor.
One church, one physical campus — what does that mean?
The standard church license is intended for one church congregation operating at one physical campus. It gives that licensed campus ongoing ministry use within the terms of the product purchased.
If your ministry has multiple campuses, is a church network, denomination, school, conference, publisher, or another organization that needs broader use, please contact Mindi Oaten Art for expanded licensing rather than purchasing separate standard licenses without guidance.
Who should keep the files?
It is helpful to have one primary church staff member or ministry leader keep the original download package in a shared church drive or another secure staff-accessible location. Keep the START HERE guide and license documentation with the collection.
That way, if staff or volunteers change in the future, the next person does not inherit a random folder of images without context. They can begin with the guide and understand what the church purchased, what each folder is for, and what the license permits.
Do we need to use every artwork?
No. A complete collection gives your church flexibility. You can use one artwork for a sermon, several works for a teaching series, or work through an entire visual journey. Purchasing a collection does not mean every piece has to be shown at once.
Do we need to print anything?
Not if you purchase a Digital Ministry Library. Those resources are designed for digital and internal ministry use.
Printing the supplied artwork for a physical visual exhibition is specifically part of the Printable Church Exhibition license. Follow the print-size and setup guidance supplied with the chosen collection.
Can we buy one artwork first?
Yes. If your church is not ready for a complete collection, the Single Artwork Church License is a practical way to begin. Restore, Behold Him, and The Bible in Art each have a single-artwork church license option.
If the church later needs a broader collection, the Digital Ministry Library or Printable Church Exhibition gives staff a much larger organized resource rather than managing individual artwork licenses one at a time.

Need help before your church purchases?
If you are a pastor, ministry leader, administrator, worship leader, church communications person, volunteer, or someone who has simply been asked to “figure out the art resource,” you are welcome to ask questions before purchasing.
Tell us what your church hopes to do, how many campuses you have, and whether you are primarily using the artwork digitally or planning a physical exhibition. We can help point you toward the appropriate license.
Church digital resources are licensed ministry resources. Copyright and digital reproduction ownership remain with Mindi Oaten. The information on this page is a practical overview; the applicable product description and Standard Church Licensing Terms govern the specific license purchased.
