💱 What Currency Is Your Store In?

All prices are in USD, as my studio and fulfillment are now based in Oklahoma, USA. Your credit card or PayPal will handle the conversion automatically if you're purchasing internationally.

🖼 How Do I Purchase an Original Painting?

I release original artwork collections throughout the year, both from live painting events and studio work. New releases are announced via social media, blog, and email list. Originals often sell quickly, so be sure to stay connected!

🎨 Can I Commission a Custom Painting?

Yes — though commission spots are very limited. Please reach out using the Contact Form or email mindi@mindioaten.com to inquire.

  • Commissions typically take 3–12 weeks

  • Response time matters! Prompt communication helps reserve your spot

  • Artist retains all rights unless otherwise negotiated

If you're interested in purchasing full rights to your commission for reproduction, please mention that in your request.

🖨 What Is the Print Quality Like?

All reproductions are Giclée fine art prints, created on high-end professional printers using archival inks. Printed on artist-grade canvas, they are visually rich and often mistaken for originals.

Options include:

  • Flat canvas prints (with a 1-inch white border)

  • Pre-stretched canvas prints (UV-coated with a gloss varnish and ready to hang)

Please avoid using any tape on the surface of your print, as it may damage the pigments.

 

🖼 Do You Offer Larger Prints?

Currently, prints are available up to:

  • 18x24” (rectangular)

  • 24x24” (square)

To fill larger spaces, I recommend grouping multiple prints into a gallery wall. I offer collector discounts on multi-print purchases — email me to discuss options!

🚚 How Is My Artwork Shipped?

Originals

  • Carefully wrapped, padded, and boxed

  • Shipped via USPS (U.S.) or international carrier

  • Large pieces may ship via freight (est. $100–$500)

Prints

  • Sizes 8x10 and smaller ship flat

  • Larger prints ship in a sturdy tube

  • All orders are packed with care and love

Prints are made to order and typically take 12–14 business days before shipping.

📍 Can I Pick Up My Order In Person?

Yes, if you are located near Durant, OK — reach out to schedule a local pickup.

🖼 Do You Recommend Framing?

Absolutely! Flat canvas prints fit standard frame sizes. You can find options at places like IKEA, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. Be sure to use acid-free mats and adhesives for longevity.

🔁 What Is Your Return Policy?

All sales are final except in certain approved situations. Please inspect descriptions carefully and note that colors may appear slightly different on screen.

🖼 Do You Work with Galleries or Shops?

Yes! I offer Giclée prints at wholesale rates to select shops and galleries.

  • Resale of any artwork (originals or prints) requires written permission

❤️ Do You Donate Artwork to Charities?

Yes, I donate a limited number of prints to charitable causes each quarter. Please submit your request to mindi@mindioaten.com for consideration.

🛋 Do You Work with Interior Designers?

Yes! I love seeing my artwork in beautiful spaces. I offer designer discounts on Giclée prints and can create custom coupon codes for frequent clients. Originals are excluded from discounts.

🧾 Can I Reproduce or Resell Your Art?

No artwork (original or reproduction) may be resold or used for profit without my written permission. The collector may display their purchased art in personal or business spaces but not reproduce or license it.

To purchase full commercial rights, please contact me directly.

🛡 Who Owns the Copyright to Your Artwork?

All artwork — including originals and prints — is protected under copyright law and remains the sole intellectual property of Mindi Oaten.

Even after purchasing a painting or print, buyers do not have the right to copy, reproduce, distribute, or use the artwork for commercial purposes (like selling products, printing on merchandise, or using in designs or digital content).

This applies worldwide — copyright protection extends beyond the U.S. under international law.

Collectors are welcome to display purchased art in personal or business spaces, but reproduction in any form requires written permission.
