Art as Ministry
From the moment I step into my studio, the distractions of the world begin to fade. This is where I find peace and a sense of purpose. It is where I create, give thanks to the One who created me, and offer back the gift He placed in my hands. My prayer is that the work would carry His goodness, His beauty, and His Word into the lives of others.
The reason I began creating art again after a fourteen-year break was because of an encounter I had with God. Jesus called me back into the purpose He had for my life: to create art. From that moment, I knew that if I was going to devote my life and career to artwork full time, I would do it for Him.
Over the years, that calling has taken many forms: painting live during worship, creating Scripture-inspired collections, exhibiting Bible Art, teaching and speaking with other creatives, collaborating with ministries and organizations, and creating commissioned work for meaningful projects. I still approach each opportunity with the same desire: to create with the Holy Spirit and point people back to Jesus and the Word of God.

Collectors Club
In March 2020, I began painting a new prophetic piece each month and sending a special-edition print to a small community of collectors. That became the Collectors Club. Each month I pray, listen, and ask the Lord what is on His heart to paint for that season.
The Collectors Club has become one of the most meaningful ways people journey with the work month by month while supporting the continued creation of faith-filled art.
Ministry & Collaboration Highlights
Alongside creating in my studio, I’ve had the privilege of working with ministries, churches, conferences, filmmakers, galleries, charities, and creative organizations in Canada, the United States, and abroad. These are some of the projects and relationships that have shaped the ministry side of my work.

June 2021: I was contacted to contribute a selection of my art for an exhibition in Los Angeles, CA called, "Contemplating the Christ." The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (to view more about the exhibit, click here)
LUZ ART features a diverse selection of works by internationally recognized artists studying the humanity and divinity of Jesus Christ. We follow Jesus thru the prophetic scriptures in the Torah leading to the historical accounts of the four gospels. Viewers experience a pictorial expression of the sacred text thru the lens of devotional artists.
I have also been added as a feature artist to their website.
Luz Art is an arts ministry and contemporary gallery space. We showcase sacred conversations, specializing in the Torah and Biblical text. We bring these timeless messages to new viewers thru a visual lens, curating conversations of eternal hope, redemption & restoration. Our World is in need of eternal hope.
June 2022: I was contacted by Jason Hildebrand, creator of Presence Creative Arts, to collaborate in a commission painting series for the Alliance Canada Annual Assembly in Edmonton, AB. I worked on a large-scale three-part painting project with a theme of lament to joy. The original art was displayed at the Assembly, as well as projected on the stage screens as part of the artistic background of the event. Their creative team animated still shot photos I took of the creative process while painting the art, a new challenge that was incredibly rewarding to see come to life.
Presence Creative Arts mission, we craft, perform and empower transformative stories which seek to inspire people and communities to authentically thrive.
April & August 2022: I was interviewed for being part of the "Breath of Life" film series, such an honor. If you want to view the interview, click here. I was also interviewed on 100 Huntley Street to tell more of my testimony in the arts. Sharing about my story of coming back to painting after a long period of walking away from it. Click here to watch the interview.
100 Huntley Street is Canada's longest running daily television show and the sixth longest running daily television show in the world. They feature authentic, faith-based life changing stories from people of all walks of life.
June 2022: Sharing my personal testimony on this amazing program, "See Hear Love" with host Melinda Estabrooks, in their "Summer of Strength" series. To watch this podcast, click here. I talk about "buying the purple paint" where one simple instruction started unfolding my journey with God through the arts.
See Hear Love’s mission is to create a safe and authentic community for Millennial Women where they can hear stories, ask questions and share their journey so they can grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus.
November 2022: It is always a great honor to be asked to create something special for charity. I was asked to create an original painting to help raise money for their annual fundraiser gala. Please click here to see the painting I created, that is now housed at the Centre. (it raised over $10,000 and was given back to the Centre for display!)
Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre is a faith-based, non-profit, charitable agency. We are dedicated to serving women, as well as their families and partners, who seek help in making decisions about their pregnancies and related concerns.

November 2024: I had just completed my Behold Him collection, a series of paintings capturing the life and ministry of Jesus, when something began to stir. Invitations started coming from churches and individuals who wanted to bring the collection to their communities. From Alberta to Indiana, Ohio to Texas, doors opened in unexpected places. What began as a personal journey through the Gospels quickly grew into something more. God was breathing on it and sending it out.
One of the most defining moments came when I received a call from the leader of Entourage Ministries in Durant, Oklahoma. She invited me to partner with their ministry to host a Behold Him women’s conference. From the moment I said yes, it felt like stepping into a window of heaven. Every detail carried God’s fingerprints. The women in this community had a hunger to behold Jesus unlike anything I had ever seen. Their response to the art, worship, and Word was holy and profound.
It became a true marker in my ministry journey. God even surprised me with personal gifts along the way, like staying in a home surrounded by hundreds of monarch butterflies, a beautiful confirmation tied to the prophetic symbolism already woven into the collection.
This was more than an event. It was an encounter with Jesus, with purpose, and with the beauty of a community gathered to behold Him.
Entourage Ministries is located in southern Oklahoma (not far from Dallas) our mission is to strengthen the entourage of women whose lives proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a fellowship of women who love Jesus. Our heart is to serve women from many congregations, denominations, generations and cultures. We serve through hosting worship gatherings, podcasts, retreats, anxiety ministry, and mentorship. (see Ps 68:11 AMP for our inspiration)
2025/26: Blue Life (formerly Blue Nest), Dallas, Texas
In 2025, I had the joy of beginning a collaboration with Blue Life, formerly Blue Nest, a Dallas-based nonprofit ministry with a heart to help women grow in relationship with God and with one another. Their gatherings create room for worship, teaching, prayer, communion, and creative expression, including art, as women are encouraged to experience connection, restoration, and spiritual growth.
One of the things I love about Blue Life is their desire to create safe, intentional environments where women can encounter Jesus and be strengthened in community. It has been a privilege to come alongside what God is doing through this ministry and contribute through the arts during this 2025/26 season.
Blue Life is dedicated to the personal and professional development of women, building relationships, and providing a safe place to grow. Learn more about Blue Life.

April 2026: America Reads the Bible, Washington, D.C.
In April 2026, America Reads the Bible gathered leaders and readers in Washington, D.C. for a continuous public reading of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. The main event was held at the Museum of the Bible as part of America’s 250th anniversary year.
One of the great honors of my journey was seeing the 66-Book Bible Art Collection, painted in partnership with Time to Revive, displayed during the event. The paintings created a visual journey through Scripture alongside the spoken Word, bringing together the two things that have shaped so much of my calling: the Bible and art.
To have all sixty-six paintings gathered in that setting was deeply meaningful to me. What began years earlier as an intense season of study, prayer, and painting had traveled farther than I ever could have imagined.
