Commission an Original Painting
Some paintings begin with an image. Others begin with a story, a Scripture, a season of life, a prayer, or something meaningful that you want to remember.
I accept a limited number of commissioned paintings throughout the year, creating one-of-a-kind original artwork in my own artistic style and visual language.

A commission is more than choosing a size and subject. It is an opportunity to create something that carries meaning specifically for you, your family, your space, or the person receiving it.
Your idea may begin with a Scripture, a significant moment, a prayer, a person, a place, a symbol, a color, or simply something you feel drawn to.
My role is to listen to the heart behind your idea and interpret it through the way I naturally paint, using imagery, symbolism, color, nature, and story to create an original piece that feels both personal and distinctly mine.
The process begins with an inquiry.
Once I receive your message, we can talk through the vision for the painting, the intended size, timing, subject matter, and anything meaningful you would like me to understand about the piece.
If the project feels like a good fit and I have availability in my studio schedule, I’ll provide the next steps along with the project-specific pricing and details before the commission begins.

Photos and visual references can be helpful for understanding your vision, but the finished painting will be interpreted through my own artistic style rather than created as an exact copy of another image or artwork.
Each commission is priced individually based on the size, complexity, subject matter, scope of the project, and any special requirements.
Because every painting is created by hand and my studio schedule changes throughout the year, completion times also vary. If I am able to accept your project, an estimated timeline and the important project details will be discussed before the work begins.
Commission availability is limited, so submitting an inquiry does not guarantee that I will be able to accept every project.
The most successful commissions happen when there is room for both your story and my creative process.
I want to understand what matters most to you: the meaning, emotion, Scripture, imagery, or story behind the work, and then have the freedom to interpret those elements through my own artistic voice.
If you are drawn to the style, symbolism, color, and storytelling found throughout my existing work, a commission may be a beautiful way to create something uniquely yours.
Shipping and delivery arrangements depend on the size, destination, framing, and individual needs of the finished artwork.
Original commissioned artwork is final sale unless otherwise agreed in writing. Project-specific payment, shipping, timing, and other important details will be confirmed before the commission begins.
