Micah — The Good Shepherd
Representative Scripture: Micah 5:4
Mindi's Reflection
Micah, as most of the prophetic books, have a theme of prophecies around rebuke and the promise of restoration. There is a pattern of warnings, a message of judgment as the result of disobedience, following a message of salvation. I focused my composition for this painting on the theme of Jesus being the Good Shepherd, who will establish his kingdom government and the entire nations remnant will gather like a flock to the mountain of the Lord. He will bring justice on the earth.
