Mark — Suffering Servant: Healing Touch

Mindi's Reflection
In the gospel of Mark, Jesus is shown as the suffering servant. I also noticed how much his miracles and healing stories were told throughout the book. I wanted to show both of these themes in this painting. The theme of dying to self in order to live and spread the seeds of the gospel was a central theme n this composition. Jesus came as a humble servant, to die in order for us to live and have life through Him.
