Ephesians — Our Armour: The Head of the Church

Representative Scripture: Ephesians 6:10-18
Mindi's Reflection
Ephesians reveals to us the mystery of the church, which is the body of Christ. We are the body and Christ is the head. He bought us with the price of his body through his sacrifice, we are no longer our own but are now seated with him in heavenly places, through him all things were created, including us.
I felt the importance to include the armour to remind us that God has given us all the armour we need to fight the battles we endure here on earth. He is the head, the King who reigns over all, who has overcome death; he is God with us, the foundation of our faith and all we need to get through any battle or spiritual assault. Ephesians shows Jesus as the Head of the Church, his divinity in the heavenly realms, his authority in the earthly dimension, and the power that he has given us to walk out our journey here and now.
