Mindi's Reflection
The gospel according to John shows Jesus as the Messiah, but He's also the Son of God who gives eternal life to everyone who believes on His name. We see this reality through the signs and miracles He performs, and seven times He answers "I Am" when people question His identity.
I choose to focus on the seven “I Am” statements that are unique to this book. I choose objects that symbolize each statement, depicting an identity of Jesus as God. John was showing that Jesus was the Son of God, the way God stated to Moses in Exodus 3:14 saying “I Am.”
