Representative Scripture: Acts 1:8
Mindi's Reflection
Acts portrays the beginning of the Church from its roots at Pentecost, fifty days after Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus sends, as promised, the Holy Spirit to fall like fire on the people, empowering and enabling them to become the evangelical team to carry out the great commission. I wanted to combine elements of this central theme in an artistic way, showing God’s fire falling and empowering those to step forth as witnesses’ of Christ.
