Song of Songs: The Author of Love
Representative Scripture: Song of Songs 8:6-7
Mindi's Reflection
No other book of the Bible is so thick with simile, metaphor and other artful images in language. It’s poetic love language drips off the painting. I wanted to show its most central imagery of emotion, a love story. We see Christ as the author of love, a love story with his bride, the Church.
