The Story Behind the Work
"What His Love Loosens" - 30 x 24 inches acrylic on canvas
“Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
Mark 4:39, NIV
~
Some pain has no words.
It gathers in clenched fists.
The unanswered why.
The ache of disappointment.
The storm we cannot quiet within ourselves.
Then Jesus reaches toward us. The One who walks upon the water extends a hand marked by love.
Wave upon wave, His love loosens what sorrow has tightened.
Slowly, the fists once lifted in anguish become an offering lifted in surrender.
He may not give us every answer. Faith is not always understanding why. Sometimes it is placing the unanswered things into His hands, trusting that He sees beyond the storm.
The waters may rise, but they remain beneath His feet. The wind may rage, but it still knows His voice.
The One who calms the sea is the One who opens our hands and sets us free.
Original artwork, acrylic on stretched canvas, Gallery Wrap 1 1/2". Adding a beautiful custom frame will give your new painting added elegance, but is not necessary if you prefer the raw edge look.
Original paintings on canvas are one-of-a-kind works created by Mindi. Many are acrylic on canvas; the exact medium and dimensions are listed on each product page. Purchasing an original means purchasing the physical original artwork, not a reproduction.
Display original canvas paintings indoors in a stable environment, away from prolonged direct sunlight, fireplaces, heating vents, bathrooms, and major humidity or temperature changes. Dust gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth or artist’s brush; never use water, sprays, solvents, or household cleaners on the painted surface.
Framing varies by piece. Some paintings can be displayed unframed, while others may suit a floating or traditional frame. Unless the listing says otherwise, framing is not included. Browse available Original Paintings or contact the studio with a framing or care question.
Displaying: keep artwork indoors and away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture, smoke, and rapid temperature changes.
Handling: use clean, dry hands and hold prints or originals by the edges whenever possible. Support larger pieces evenly with two hands.
Cleaning: use only a soft, dry cloth or clean artist’s brush. Do not apply water, glass cleaner, oils, sprays, or household cleaners directly to printed or painted surfaces.
Framing: archival, acid-free materials and UV-protective glazing are recommended for works on paper and can also help protect fine art prints. Canvas works should be framed or stretched appropriately for the specific piece.
