The rock in the wilderness, a picture of Christ as our Rock and Redeemer. He is our solid foundation. The Israelites wandered for forty years in the wilderness due to their failure to obey the Lord and their unbelief. It hindered them from entering the promised land. Despite their disobedience, God was always with them to guide and provide. God is always faithful, even when we are not.
Originally painted in acrylic on canvas.
