This painting was painted live during a church service at C3 - Calgary West. This is an image loaded with symbolism. It is a picture of seeing new revelation through the Word. The glasses speak of seeing through God's perspective. The Word is our bases, our foundation in all things. Simplicity and humility is often the best way to hear and see what the Lord is saying. The nest and eggs represent new life. Seeing in a new way. God is constantly birthing new and fresh things, he is making all things new. The butterflies represent a life transformed through Christ, renewing our mind and meditating on the Word. And the outdoors and narrow path represent the path God intends for each one of us to follow. The narrow road of following Him leads to life, his ways are not contained in a building, but are intended to be explored daily in our walk with Him.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7: 13-14)
In all my work, I pray the Lord speaks to you through it in fresh and new ways.
