Esther "Protector of His People"
The theme of Esther is God's protection of His people. He used this young woman and placed her in a position of authority to save the Jewish people from the evil schemes plotting against them, to destroy them. I painted a still life of symbols from her story and life. The painting speaks in symbols of a beautiful narrative of God's favour on a woman who would ultimately save her people.
Originally painted in acrylic on canvas.
