Inspired by Matthew 3:16–17, Well Pleased captures the baptism of Jesus and the moment the Holy Spirit descends like a dove as the Father declares His love for His Son.
" And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3: 16-17
At the Jordan River, an extraordinary event unfolded. Jesus, radiating holiness, stood before John the Baptist, a humble prophet in the wilderness. In the midst of the clear waters, Jesus' baptism held unique significance.
As Jesus descended into the river, it was as if the waters recognized his purity, parting willingly. The sun's rays played upon the surface, creating a mesmerizing dance of light, while the world seemed to pause, sensing the divine importance of the moment.
John immersed Jesus, and as he did, a divine hush descended. The Holy Spirit, symbolized by a dove, descended upon Jesus, anointing him. This ethereal light enveloped him, signifying his divine purpose.
This moment was more than a baptism; it was a coronation of a different kind. It marked the beginning of a kingship beyond earthly comprehension. Jesus emerged from the water, anointed not with earthly oils but with the presence of the Holy Spirit. It was the initiation of a reign that would touch the hearts of countless people, marked by grace, compassion and salvation.

Unstretched canvas prints can be framed, mounted, or professionally stretched by your local framer. Because each artwork has its own proportions, available sizes vary; order from the size and format shown on the individual product page.

A Stretched Canvas Print is a fine art canvas print stretched over an internal support frame, creating a ready-to-display presentation without first visiting a framer. It can be hung as-is or placed inside a decorative outer frame.
Stretched canvas sizes vary by artwork. If the size you need is not listed, contact the studio to ask whether a custom stretched size is available.
Mindi Oaten Art may be able to create an approved custom fine art canvas print in a size not listed on the product page. Custom print orders are quoted individually based on the artwork, final dimensions, proportions, and finishing requirements.
Custom sizes must respect the proportions of the original painting, and some dimensions may require cropping. The studio will confirm what works visually before the order is finalized.

Displaying: keep artwork indoors and away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture, smoke, and rapid temperature changes.
Handling: use clean, dry hands and hold prints or originals by the edges whenever possible. Support larger pieces evenly with two hands.
Cleaning: use only a soft, dry cloth or clean artist’s brush. Do not apply water, glass cleaner, oils, sprays, or household cleaners directly to printed or painted surfaces.
Framing: archival, acid-free materials and UV-protective glazing are recommended for works on paper and can also help protect fine art prints. Canvas works should be framed or stretched appropriately for the specific piece.
