"The Watchman's Key" - fine art print

The beautiful almond branch is the first to blossom in spring, waking up from winter.
The almond tree is associated with one of the earliest prophecies of Jeremiah. “Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ And I said, ‘I see a branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am watching to perform My word.’” (Jeremiah 1:11-12)
This prophecy uses a play on words that carries a vital truth for Israel as well as for us. The Hebrew word for almond, shaked, is also translated “to watch”. By seeing the almond branch, God assured Jeremiah that He is watching over His word to bring it to pass, no matter the passage of time.
The Lord was speaking to me in this season as we enter Spring, we must awaken like the almond branch, and see the keys. He has keys hidden for us in the Garden, keys of insight and revelation to wake up and hear; to release decrees and prayers in this time for transformation of new life. He's calling us to be watchmen for our nations and regions. The Lord gives keys by walking with him, by knowing him and his heart you will see the keys he has for you. Keys to transform, keys of restoration, keys of wisdom and discernment, keys to warn. It's time to awaken.
