Drawn from Luke 1:44, Leaped for Joy reflects the sacred meeting of Mary and Elizabeth, when the unborn John leaps for joy at Mary’s greeting.

In the quiet sanctuary of time, a sacred meeting unfolded, transcending earthly boundaries as two destined souls drew near. Mary, the virgin chosen to carry the radiant promise of the divine birth, journeyed to visit her relative, Elizabeth, who bore a miracle of her own.
These two relatives, separated by generations and joined by purpose, carried within them the fulfilment of God's plan for humanity. They were vessels, chosen by divine providence to herald a transformation that would forever alter the course of history.
As Mary stepped into Elizabeth's proximity, the presence of the Holy Spirit enveloped them. Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and John leaped in her womb at Mary’s greeting.
In this sacred encounter, John’s leap points toward his calling to prepare the way for Jesus, baptizing with water and calling people to repentance.
Suddenly, as Mary spoke words of greeting, John leaped within Elizabeth's womb. This was no ordinary flutter or kick but a resounding, joyous leap, a response to the very presence of the Messiah, the fulfillment of a promise that had resonated through the ages. John’s leap foreshadows his calling, his purpose—to prepare the way for the One who would bring salvation to the world.

A Stretched Canvas Print is a fine art canvas print stretched over an internal support frame, creating a ready-to-display presentation without first visiting a framer. It can be hung as-is or placed inside a decorative outer frame.
Stretched canvas sizes vary by artwork. If the size you need is not listed, contact the studio to ask whether a custom stretched size is available.
Mindi Oaten Art may be able to create an approved custom fine art canvas print in a size not listed on the product page. Custom print orders are quoted individually based on the artwork, final dimensions, proportions, and finishing requirements.
Custom sizes must respect the proportions of the original painting, and some dimensions may require cropping. The studio will confirm what works visually before the order is finalized.

Displaying: keep artwork indoors and away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture, smoke, and rapid temperature changes.
Handling: use clean, dry hands and hold prints or originals by the edges whenever possible. Support larger pieces evenly with two hands.
Cleaning: use only a soft, dry cloth or clean artist’s brush. Do not apply water, glass cleaner, oils, sprays, or household cleaners directly to printed or painted surfaces.
Framing: archival, acid-free materials and UV-protective glazing are recommended for works on paper and can also help protect fine art prints. Canvas works should be framed or stretched appropriately for the specific piece.
