“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” (John 4:23)
God transcends our limitations of time, although He created time for us on Earth. He dwells in a different dimension, the spirit realm, beyond the perception of our time restrictions. God exists outside of time, creator and sovereign over everything. He is timeless. The morning I painted this, I had a dream with the feeling of urgency of time as I woke. I heard the words, “time is short” and had a vision of an hourglass. As I prayed for further explanation, the Lord showed me a birds nest on the hourglass. This painting holds layers of meaning for me personally. The eggs represent a season of new beginnings, the Lord is doing something new in this time. It also means that he already created each one of us before we were born. He has a destiny plan for us to fly, before we came into the existence of our time. The time we live in was created and will one day exist outside of our time. I feel we are entering into a season where eternal perspective on how we function now needs to be more important that the constraints of worldly time. As believers we are sent to advance the kingdom of heaven in our time until His return. Time is short. But it’s never too late to be born again before our time is up. Jesus is all loving and patient, longing for all his children to come home to Him. Don’t let time pass you by. He is seeking out the ones to worship in Spirit and in truth. Sing to the Lord a new song, now is the time.
