Garments of Praise: Mantled to Reign - Fine Art Prints

 "The Rainbow Collection"

This collection was inspired by a vision I had in a prayer time, December 2020.  I asked the Lord for a "word" to paint for 2021, he showed me a mantle, in my favourite colour and a crown, hearing the word "authority."  I knew it spoke of my authority in Christ as a daughter of the King, seated in heavenly places.  This vision continued where I saw a room full of these coloured mantles and crowns, arched like the rainbow around the throne.  I heard God say, "paint the rainbow."

This series can represent many layers of meaning, but in short, it speaks of a new season God is calling His bride into; calling us higher, to shine and reflect His glory in the midst of darkness.  To rule and reign with Him.  To throw off the grave clothes and be mantled with the garment of praise, fully embracing our purpose and new assignments on the earth.

rainbow is caused by sunlight and atmospheric conditions. Feeling as though we've been through a storm in this last season, the Son shines radiant white light through the water droplets, refracting His light through purified ones. They form a display of radiant colours from heaven.  When unified, we shine as one glorious sign and wonder to the earth, a reminder to God of His promise to humanity.  I see God mantling His church with these new colours, calling us to shine bright in this next season!  A sign of hope, of praise and of His purposes.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."  Isaiah 61: 1-3
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you."  Isaiah 60: 1-2
