💳 Billing Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms
By placing an order on mindioaten.com, you agree to be bound by the following billing terms and conditions. These policies apply to all orders, including original artwork, commissions, reproduction prints, subscriptions, and pre-orders.
Mindi Oaten Art reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and changes will take effect immediately upon being published on this page.
2. Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed via Shopify Payments, PayPal, or another approved third-party payment provider. We accept all major credit cards and digital payment methods.

Currency: All transactions are processed in USD.

Charges: You will be charged at the time of placing your order, including pre-orders and made-to-order items unless otherwise specified.

Subscriptions: Subscription payments are processed automatically based on the frequency selected. If your subscription includes auto-renewal, you will be charged at the start of each renewal cycle unless canceled prior.
3. Order Confirmation & Invoicing
Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation with your order summary and billing receipt. Please ensure your billing and contact information is accurate at the time of checkout.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact mindi@mindioaten.com.
4. Sales Tax
Sales tax is applied where required by law and is based on your shipping address and local regulations. All applicable taxes will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
5. Refunds & Returns
We handle every sale with care. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund for eligible items within 7 days of delivery.

Unused, undamaged items in original packaging

Commissioned pieces

Items damaged due to mishandling after delivery
💡 Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
6. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm receipt and notify you of refund approval status.

If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund after the estimated timeframe:

Double-check your bank or credit card account.

Contact your card provider; processing delays are common.

Reach out to your bank to ensure the transaction has cleared.

8. Shipping Policy Summary

Reproduction prints are made to order and may take up to 2 weeks before shipping.

9. Cancellations

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time before the next billing cycle.

Pre-orders may be canceled before fulfillment. Once shipped, standard return policies apply.

Custom or commissioned work cannot be canceled once production has begun.
10. Privacy & Data Security
All personal and payment information is processed securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not store your full payment details and will never share your information without consent unless required by law.
