"Crowned" - fine art print
originally painted during worship at the "Esther Rising" gathering in Calgary, AB - 2024
"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
~
This painting depicts a powerful moment where Jesus crowns His sons and daughters, signifying our divine calling to rule and reign with Him. His hands gently place the golden crown, adorned with twelve vibrant jewels, upon their heads. The twelve jewels represent Kingdom government, a reminder of the authority we carry as part of His royal family (Revelation 21:14). This crown of life (James 1:12) is not just a symbol of eternal reward, but a call to action—an invitation to walk in the authority Christ has given us to bring His light and justice to the world.
The act of crowning reflects our position as co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), chosen to share in His mission and manifest His Kingdom on Earth. Like Esther, who was crowned for such a time as this, we are being prepared to step into our divine roles, to boldly approach the throne, and to intercede on behalf of the nations, carrying the weight of His authority.
In a broader sense, this image captures Jesus “crowning” not just individuals, but a nation—calling it to rise up and rule in the midst of its enemies (Psalm 110:2). He is birthing a new movement of Kingdom ambassadors, anointed to carry His power, justice, and light into the world, advancing His Kingdom and fulfilling His purposes in this critical time.
