"Arise & Shine" - 36 x 36 inches acrylic on canvas
This painting is a bright and colorful bouquet from God's garden. A reminder of his beauty, glory and fragrance.
“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven."
(Matt. 5:16, MSG)
For me personally, the words I felt for 2022 were "Advance" and "Time to Shine." These words offer an invitation for us to move forward into new things with God and press on. When there is hesitation to withdraw and retreat, God is asking us to take a firm stance and advance with Him.
Let's take back the ground, with His authority and purpose.
We all carry color and are carriers of the light.
Saturating the world around us with His nature and tangible presence.
Colours are all about the promise and the giftings entrusted to us that we have been called to steward. Remain creative and stay encouraged.
May we be fearless in 2022.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn." (Isaiah 60: 1-3)
Original artwork, acrylic on stretched canvas. Wrapped edges are painted white. Adding a beautiful custom frame will give your new painting added elegance, but is not necessary if you prefer the raw edge look.
