Drawn from Hebrews 1:3, Seated at the Right Hand portrays the risen and glorified Christ reigning in authority at the right hand of the Father.
"The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." (Hebrews 1:3)
This painting powerfully symbolizes the grand narrative of redemption and divine monarchy, portraying Jesus as He extends His scepter from His heavenly throne. His scepter, a symbol of the ultimate authority and the unyielding power of resurrection, points toward the earth with majesty and grace. Upon this scepter, a Monarch butterfly alights—a representation of God's Kingdom Reign, embodying the transformative journey from life, through death, to glorious rebirth, and reflecting the unbroken cycle of life that He oversees.
The artist takes symbolic liberty by adorning the sceptre with a rose at the top, drawing on the traditional Christian association of Jesus with the Rose of Sharon, inspired by the poetic words of Song of Songs 2:1, “I am the rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys.” This floral symbol harmonizes with the themes of creation and life found in the Genesis narrative.
The ethereal clouds in the background suggest the heavenly realms, a vast and timeless space where divine sovereignty reigns supreme. Jesus’ robe flows like the eternal river of life, its folds whispering of purity, tranquility, and the peace that passes all understanding. A Stretched Canvas Print is a fine art canvas print stretched over an internal support frame, creating a ready-to-display presentation without first visiting a framer. It can be hung as-is or placed inside a decorative outer frame.
Stretched canvas sizes vary by artwork. If the size you need is not listed, contact the studio to ask whether a custom stretched size is available.
Mindi Oaten Art may be able to create an approved custom fine art canvas print in a size not listed on the product page. Custom print orders are quoted individually based on the artwork, final dimensions, proportions, and finishing requirements.
Custom sizes must respect the proportions of the original painting, and some dimensions may require cropping. The studio will confirm what works visually before the order is finalized.

Displaying: keep artwork indoors and away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture, smoke, and rapid temperature changes.
Handling: use clean, dry hands and hold prints or originals by the edges whenever possible. Support larger pieces evenly with two hands.
Cleaning: use only a soft, dry cloth or clean artist’s brush. Do not apply water, glass cleaner, oils, sprays, or household cleaners directly to printed or painted surfaces.
Framing: archival, acid-free materials and UV-protective glazing are recommended for works on paper and can also help protect fine art prints. Canvas works should be framed or stretched appropriately for the specific piece.
