“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…” — Genesis 50:20
Long before the palace, before the dreams were fulfilled,
there was a robe—woven in many colours—
a father’s gift to a beloved son.
A symbol of favour.
Of identity.
Of destiny whispered in thread and hue.
Though torn from Joseph’s shoulders,
what man stripped away,
God never forgot.
In this painting, I saw Jesus—tender and royal—
holding the robe again.
Not just Joseph’s…
but yours.
A covering crafted by the King,
a mantle of mercy and promise,
stitched with every part of your journey:
the golden moments, the crimson trials,
the emerald fields of growth,
the sapphire depths of pain and transformation.
He holds it out—gentle, steady—
not forcing, just inviting:
“This is yours.
I made it for you.
Wear it again.”
You are not forgotten.
Your favour has not faded.
The story still unfolds
in the hands of the One who weaves glory from ashes.
