Nehemiah "The Builder who Restores"

Nehemiah has a beautiful theme of restoration, rebuilding what was broken, a tangible image of rebuilding the wall. I focused on an overall composition showing the skill, might and tools of rebuilding. The Lord gives us the strength to overcome broken situations. The Israelites returned to the homeland and we now free to rebuild their walls of protection and rebuild what was broken. I hope to portray a feeling of excitement of starting life again with optimism for a wonderful future. Christ is the builder who restores the broken.

Originally painted in acrylic on canvas.

All prints are printed on fine art quality printing canvas or printed on heavyweight matte paper. It will look and feel like the real thing. (un-matted and unframed).

Nehemiah

I have always loved the story of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall . The way his heart was deeply moved by conditions back home. And the way he was steadfast doing what he knew God had called him to do . Even being taunted by those attempting to stop him from doing Gods work .This year my word for the year is build . So I am building my art pieces around that theme. Seeing the whole collection in January at the crossroads of America was moving in so many ways. I love each piece. It blessed my spirit so much. Thank you for being faithful to Gods calling on your life. You have such a gift.
