"Humility" | Mark - 'Garden of Grace' mini collection - fine art print
In Christianity, a dandelion is a symbolic representation of Jesus Christ's love and self-sacrifice for us. He had a short-lived time on earth, his radiance and simplicity attracted the world, diminishing oneself for the sake of others. The word dandelion comes from the French phrase, "dent de lion" which means "lion's tooth" because of the jagged shape of the leaves. "Lion's tooth" reminds us of Christ. He came as a humble suffering servant and will return to earth a second time as a lion.
