"Faithfulness & Consequences" | Hosea - 'Garden of Grace' mini collection - fine art print
Thorns and Thistles often symbolize desolation and the wilderness in the Bible. Thorns and thistles in the original Curse on sin (in Genesis) are a symbolic reminder of the things that choke out fruit in our lives; the things that wound instead of nourish. In Hosea we see thorns and thistles being used to describe blockage, hardship, and judgment - the consequences of sin.
Violets are the contrasting flower. They represent a symbol of modesty, spiritual wisdom, faithfulness and humility.
