"The Invitation" - Painted Day 102, reviveOHIO, Miami County
“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.” (Matthew 22:2-3)
I had a vision of Jesus setting the table for the great banquet. He was filled with so much love, excitement and anticipation for all his guests to come. He was extremely intentional to design each place setting according to the person it was meant for, with all their favourite things. Individual style, colours, flowers, silverware, etc. The finest details were taken care of because He loves and knows us so intimately. Then I heard him speaking to me about the urgency to invite people to the table. He doesn’t want anyone to not be at their seat. His heart grieved with that thought because He has a seat being prepared for every single one of us, but it’s up to us to come and invite others. The invitation is open, will you come?
