In the evening hours of a Jerusalem night, Jesus, the embodiment of wisdom and enlightenment, held a conversation with Nicodemus, a Pharisee and ruler among the Jews. Nicodemus, in his quest for understanding, approached Jesus with genuine curiosity, asking Him about the concept of rebirth. Jesus, in His divine wisdom, responded, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." (John 3:3)
As Nicodemus grappled with the literal understanding of being born again, Jesus further elucidated, "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." (John 3:5-6). This profound revelation points towards the transformative power of spiritual rebirth, signifying a departure from the earthly realm to embrace a divine calling.
